Hi guys and gals!!!
I'm actually brand new to this forum, but I've played a bit of pick up with you guys during the visits I've taken back to my hometown of Taipei over the last two years.
The reason for this post is two fold - the first, is to introduce you to *us*, Monster (www.monstercan.com). We are a co-ed team from Toronto who have our sights set on attending the Club Worlds in 2010. We are holding tryouts right now, and hopefully will come up with a great roster for our touring season here in Toronto. Last year, a few of our core members had the opportunity to attend the 2006 Club Worlds in Australia. They returned with great stories of game and spirit, and this raised a lot of interst amongst the rest of the team.
This brings us to the second reason for this post, which is to inquire about the possibility of someone there making a bid to host the Club Worlds in Taipei for 2010. So far, the location of the tournament has yet to be decided. Brazil (Sao Paulo) is the only country to make a bid so far. Many of our team members have strong ties to Taiwan, and would love a chance to visit and play there. So, if anyone is reading this, and has information on who might be able to get the ball rolling, could they please either contact me, or talk to someone that would be able to start the process?

It seems that the bid deadline has been extended!
